aha phenomenon

wow! i haven't realised it had been so long since i last wrote sth. here. i missed it. for the last 3 months, i have been doing nothing. just endless net surfing. few cravings for a new digital camera. i have a nikon pronea 600i (aps) and a canon eos rebel (35mm), one ancient digital, from olympus c series, and one relatively new canon snapshot camera. first i thought i would be very happy with a canon eos 300d but then, it was not enough. i am a human being! and i saw what nikon introduced.. d100. now, THAT's what i want.
this led to hours and hours of site visits. i particularly like european photographers as long as they stay with a "european focus". i begin to grow and interest on photojournalism.
i think, french photographers in africa better show whatever is there, than oprah creating her own environment to satisfy her need to give presents. i was apalled by the fact that the children who are described to have nothing to eat have gathered under the huge tent built by the american crew with the cleanest and shining cloths. they wore white shirts!!!!! whom are they kidding for god's sake! media is the worst thing happened in human history.

it has been raining for almost 20 hours now. i couldn't wake up in the morning. it was very dark.
yesterday was a nice day. all i did was make tea, read the sunday paper and not do cleaning:)
i am in the urge to travel. i don't know what to do. i don't have a job which makes it easier to find the best deals but no money to pay for the tickets.
oh, i can hear chili, prag, portugal calling my name!
i cooked a beautiful two course meal today. cooking made e feel happy, nevertheless, eating alone was not fun. i need nutella. to get over with this. maybe i should go out and buy. nah! not in this weather.

i went to hiking. i was with two people one of whom i met today. i would be more happy if i was alone. i felt anxious.
i am tired. of life.

discovering "amerika"
today, it was just today, that i learned there are people keeping photoblogs (www.photoblogs.org)
here is a few.
http://www.21mm.net/ from china,
http://photoblog.zoheir.net/ from iran.
http://www.photomiam.com/ from france.
when i heard about photoblogs, i thought the japanese would be leading the scene, well, it is not the case. they follow the italians, the dutch etc. of course one must ask herself, why would japanese want to be included in the web sites in english when they have their whole networld in japanese.
the point:
people imagine for a reason. there is always something, a little bit of thing that makes us imagine.
thus, authors write for a reason. i read this book, where a man creates a camera which enables to see what's happenning in the other side of the world, and then one leads to another, at the end of the book, there is a new mutant generation with cameras/speakers in their bodies. so?
the question?
will people of the world be divided according to perception rather than nation in the future?
anyway, i want to create my own photoblog.

kryptonite bullets??
i think i have sleep deprivation. my dial up connection is driving me crazy. figured that i have to pay more than i think to convert my analog media to digital.
one of my favourite authors published his new book. the thing is... i read none of his books. yeah! i know.
i am almost about to change my mind about unconventional web sites. i used to like them... i still kinda do; but most people take it to extreme as everything else. if only they had been good at it!!! it is getting harder and harder to find really nice jobs done out there. sometimes i find myself staring at the nonsence shit that somebody thinks is a great pop cult-ish product. don't they have instincts?

devil is in the method
i went to an arts and craft festival today. i was amazed by some of the art work. however, i was also surprised that, for americans, the process to create an art object is more important that the result itsef. there were endless definitions and stories how they worked, what they used, etc. and yet, you look at the result and ask yourself; all that effort for "this"?!
i realised that most of the artists were not native english speakers. brings lots of questions to one's mind.
